New London Beats Seymour for Connecticut SS Title

New London captured its first Connecticut football championship Saturday with a 27-18 win over Seymour. Running back Richie Vitale was the star of the show for the Whalers with 43-carries for 303 yards and two touchdowns. Click here for game story.

Cromwell Storms Back To Win Connecticut Class S Title

Two-time Class S champ Ansonia lost to Cromwell 14-12 Saturday night giving the Panthers their first-ever Connecticut state championship. Ansonia, which was looking for its 17th overall title, got out to a 12-0 lead in the first quarter. Click here for game story.
