On the same day that his son Mike took over the Southington football program, Chuck Drury has decided to resign as the head man at Pomperaug to join his son's staff.

Drury, who spent 35 years as the coach of the Panthers, won the Class MM state title in 2004.  Two year's ago, Drury led Pomperaug to a runner-up in Class L.
